Adam was in attendance at Wrestlemania VI in 1990. Adam received his a big break when he won a contest in the Toronto Sun to get trained in wrestling for free at Sully's Gym. In March of 1998 Adam was invited to train at the WWF's Funkin' Dujo. In June of 1998 Adam made his debute on WWF TV in a match against Jose Estrada Jr. But his debute match in the WWF was in Hamiltion, Ontario against Christian.
